Friday Love!

wow, it's friday already!

this week has went by super fast.

i didn't get to post yesterday, because i was home like 2 hours all day.

i love/hate those days.

i don't get much done, but i like switching things up.

school seriously starts in 2 weeks.

& everytime i think about that i get a little sick.

i have studied some but not like i should have.

in case you didn't know i'm a junior nursing student at ttu.

i can't wait to be a nurse!

just 1.5 more years. 

so soon instead of reading blogs on google reader every day,

ill be reading pathophysiology & such.

blah, blah.

i will still be blogging as much as possible though,

because i love it & it keeps me sane, sorta.

anyways, no big plans for this weekend,

just happy it's here.

although, next weekend is camping!

which i am soo excited about.

i also have some fun blog ideas for next week

that i can't wait to share & actually

a new craft project that turned out well.

1. Have you ever visited another country?

i have! i have been to the bahamas, cozumel, mexico, cayman islands

& some islands in hondoras.

2. Where is the strangest place you have ever been?

well, if you mean like haunted place...i don't do that scene. haha i am so scared 

things like that... but just a strange place...i guess is a little place called

historic rugby. it's only about an hour from where i live in TN, but

ppl still dress like old times and it was strange.  

3. What is your favorite season?

well, i used to think it was summer but it has been sooo

hot that im not sure anymore. i do love fall.

it's beautiful and it's mine and michael's bdays & i love birthdays.

4. What one song will always cheer you up?

hmm, probably "i believe in miracles, where ya from, you sexy thing"

haha it cracks me up everrrrytime.

or "can't always get what ya want" -by the stones.

5. What Disney character do you resemble most?

now i do love disney movies soo much, but 

unfortunately i don't think i look like any of them sadly. 

i love doing these, they are soo fun!

Friday is my Favorite!

fridayyy!

i'm pretty sure it's my favorite day of the week.

but im starting the day off pretty sleepy because

it was late last night when we got in from the races.

but it was a lot of fun & im pretty excited about going back tonite.

anyways, onto some friday fun!

first up is:

friday 5 from

 & this week's theme is

5 things you miss about being a kid.

1. i miss playing outside!!

i used to love going outside in the summer and playing all day-

in the sandbox, in the pool or just in the yard!

this is my nephew andrew playin' in the pool.

2. i miss sleeping late.

when i was kid, i slept til 9 or 10 everyday when i wasn't in school.

3. i miss the innocence.

when i was kid, i believed whatever i was told.

i believed in the tooth fairy, easter bunny, etc..

& i miss how exciting it made things.

4. i miss my toys!!

haha. i loved barbies and legos and such.

i would play for hours :)

yep, that'd be me & my legos.

5. finally i miss my family.

when i was kid our family was closer.

as time goes on, things change and families get busy

with their own things & my family is still fairly close,

i just miss sleepovers with my cousins and things like that.

Friday Fun!

woo-hoo it's friday!

this week seemed long to me.

okay, so instead of just doing the normal friday favs,

1.If you could be on a show(talk show, game show...) which one would you pick?
hmmm, that's a hard one because I love shows! probably The Price is Right, but really only if Bob Barker was back. he's just awesome!

2. What was your first job?
the dairy queen! just like most people from my town, but it was pretty cool.

3. What's one of your guilty pleasure?
hmm, just one...haha i guess it's blogging. serious i love it. i need to be doing other things, but i end up on here reading blogs and keeping this one up.....or it could be ice cream!

4. Would you ever vacation alone?
i'm not really a loner type person, i love people. but yeah i think i could. especially if it was somewhere i had never been and i could explore and do what i wanted, like to England!

5. Democrat, Republican, or Independent..or maybe even Green Party (whatever that is)?

i actually kinda like politics, but i hate conflict so i usually avoid talking about them. i guess if i had to put a name on what i am, it would be conservative!

my raggedy anne blanket. i still cover with it on the couch.

michael hates it & i don't care. ive had it since i was born.

yes! at least i'm pretty sure that i do.

um, like 5'7 i think. i kinda like it, but my husband is 6'5 

and he always wishes i was taller!

i've never thought about this one. but i really love wanda sykes voice! that would be fun!

5. Do you return your shopping cart to the corral or leave it wherever in the parking lot?

 i try to always return it. maybe like 2 times in my life have i left it out there. it's pet peeve of my moms, and i always think about what she would say. haha.

Friday Favorites

it's still friday!

i thought i may not get to post today because

i was busy with my wedding pictures :)

i got em back last night 

& im really loving them.

oh yea & i saw this quote this week 

on vinyl for your laundry room wall and i lovee it:

"I'm thankful for the piles of laundry, it means my blessings are nearby."

i complain about laundry, like all the time.

mostly because michael  wears two sets of clothes a day.

one to work and then showers and a different set.

so his laundry seems to always be piling up, but

when i saw this quote, i was like, wow how true?!

there's nothing else that's really a favorite this week.

not that i can think of anyways. 

all i know is life is sweet & God is good, all the time.

as the eagles say "it may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above us"

im blessed beyond measure, that's all i know.
