Speaking of which, tomorrow we are going to a memorial service for a dear friend of the families Ron Eibel. He passed away on New Years Eve and he will be missed. Our prayers continue to be with his wife Abby and his children and his friends. I remember the last time I saw him we were talking about me starting nursing school and him and Michael were talking about our house. They were building a house, so him and Michael were talking about dry-wall and such. He was one of Dad's good friends. It's crazy that when you talk to someone you know that it may be the last time. Now his wife is left with a house that is half finished and no husband. It is a terrible situation. Tomorrow as we go to pay our respects at his memorial service, I just pray God give us strength and the words of comfort.

Twice In One Day?
So, I may be a newbie at the whole blog world, but I'm snowed in and I need a break from reading about acute and chronic illnesses in my nursing books. So, I'm taking a break to write yet again. I hope everyone is enjoying this snow and staying in and keeping warm. I haven't left the house in 2 days! Normally, I would be going stir crazy because that's just me. I have to interact with people. But I have enjoyed staying in and working and reading and getting ready for school to start. I can't believe nursing school starts next week! Eeeekkk!! All I have worked towards for 3 years is about to start! I am super excited but so nervous. Every time I talk about it, my stomach knots up. I really don't know why... I guess cause all you ever hear is how hard is and how draining it is. All I think is, can I hack it? Can I take it? But I know I can! I have to! There is nothing else out there for me, but nursing! I know this is where God wants me because this is where He put me. I can't wait to be taking care of people. I know it won't be the most glamorous job, but I just want the opportunity to help people as they go through difficult situations.
Thanks for reading, again! Keep warm, it's freeezing out there! Here is Maggie Mae in the snow, with her polka-dot hoodie on. :D
