Hate it, Love it, Want it!

today I just decided to do a fun little post about
things that I currently hate, love & want.

I’ll start with the hate…
(I don’t like the word hate, but couldn’t
think of a better 4-letter word for hate…)

 

first up:
this crazy drama with “the terminator”
I, for one, do not care if he has 5 kids with another women.
but honestly it’s like the media is more concerned with
the fact that he kept it a secret for 10 years!
all I can think of is….dang he’s a good secret keeper! haha!

next:
the other thing that I’m super tired of hearing about is
how the world is ending on Saturday?!
have you heard that?
it just might be the craziest thing I've ever heard. 
I’m pretty sure God will end the world whenever He wants.
okay, okay-enough with the hate business,
moving onto-

 

Things I’m loving:

first:

I loooove it!
if you haven’t heard about it yet,
you can “pin” or like bookmark photos of crafts that you
would like to try and such and it will take you to the site.
what I love is that it saves it all online so no more having 1 million bookmarks!

next:

all these cute little sewing crafts I keep seeing!

like these adorable pillows from here

I got a sewing machine last here but quickly became frustrated

because I had never sewed with a machine before!

but now I’m kinda determined that I wanna do it!

 

finally the good stuff:

the things I currently want!

first is this lovely camera

sony cybershot tx-5

it is waterproof (up to 10 ft) and shock proof.

anyone who knows me, knows that’s just what I need in a point and shoot!

what kind of point and shoot camera do you have?

 

next I would loveee to have one of these

antique fan?!

my parents used to have one just like this

and I’d love to have one of my very own.

maybe ill get lucky and find on at a thrift store or yard sale!

 

and finally I really want:

what?? a girl can dream right?!

Wordless Wednesday in the Sunshine.

i haven't did a wordless wednesday post in some time.

and ive missed it!

Summertime and Sign Re-do!

yay for summer!

i changed my header up there to some more pictures

that were taken already this summer

and i kinda loved it!

i love all the summer activites happening already,

like planting my garden and flowers

and fishing and rzr riding.

yesterday i went fishing with my dad at his pond

and this little guy

had a blast!

he was running in the mud and water and 

having the time of his life

(which resulted in a water hose bath)

but still it was worth it seeing him have so much fun!

anyways today's post is actually about a little project 

that i did recently for my friend's baby shower.

it turned out very nice actually!

it started out as a sign that i bought at a garage sale

that looked like this

i had already put some mod-podge on it here

but i just mod-podged some paper on it

and added some vinyl letters from the circut

and turned it into this:

i loveeeed it!

and so did she (which was the important part)!

It was a super easy shower gift that 

was a big hit.

because who doesn't love personalize gifts?!

Happy Days

currently it is about 85 degrees here

and it was only last week that i covered my tomatoes in the garden

because it was like 30 degrees!

crazy tennessee weather!

so i know once again i have been MIA for quite some time

but i do have a bit of exciting news to share,

i'm officially a college senior!

whoop whoop! 

(only took 5 years, but still!)

so yeah i'm pretty excited.

and if everything goes as planned

on May 5, 2012 i will be a college graduate

with a degree in bachelors of science in nursing!

i have few weeks until my RN extern job starts

so im hoping i can get caught up on some things.

so anyways today i'd like to share with ya'll something

that i really do love and that would be

saving money!

who doesn't love it anyways?!

and when your husband is as cheap as mine, 

you gotta get all you can with the small amount of

money for the budget!

so i cut coupons, shop sells and read deal blogs.

i know i've mentioned hip2save before, but 

there are soo many deal blogs that are good and they

really take the guess work out of finding good deals. 

little shopping trips like mine today lets me know 

that couponing works!

so let me share this with ya...

today i kroger i got all this: 

3 jars of Ragu spaghetti sauce

1 bag of Kraft Mozzarella cheese

6 boxes of Razoni pasta

and 1 Freschetta pizza 

for $7.37!

I was super excited!!

I'm telling you that if you have the time to coupon and such

then it is worth it.

Now i have heard lots of negative stuff about this

extreme couponing show and i've personally never watched it.

but in no way do i tend to spend 6 hours in a store

or have 54 boxes of cereal, but

if i can save money on groceries and feed

our little family, then to me- it is worth it.

well i have to go cook some dinner now!

Just Random Ramblings

It has been another week since I've blogged

and I really don't have anything new or interesting to say

I decided that while I have a few extra minutes,

I'm gonna say so me something!

I'm gonna start with a few things I have been LOVING lately.

I love to hear what people are really into so

I can try it and see if I love it like they do.

Maybe I'm just weird. ha.

Vitamin Water: Power-C Dragon Fruit.

yummmmm.

I have loved vitamin water for a while now

and I know it has too much sugar, but I just like it!

But Dragon Fruit?

THE BEST!

What's a dragon fruit? 

I don't know...I just know it's awesome--for sure.

Next...are sanuks!

Do you love them or what?

I am trying to decide between theses and different style. 

But Scott has pair and I do love them.

Can't wait to wear these around all summer!

Have you seen this show advertise?

Dad was suppose to record it last night for me.

And I Cannot WAIT to watch it.

I have also been interested in the Kennedy family

and I have a feeling it's going to be good.

So those are a few things I'm into at the moment. 

It actually looks like a slow week on the calender

so I should be posting again this week.

I have an extern interview tomorrow for 

a summer extern RN job.

So keep your fingers crossed it works out.
